Minor planet visible? : Yes 8 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: GPS log checked - true sync is obtained. At T-20min, the target star wasn't see on screen with 0.5s. I took some 5 sec exposures and confined the asteroid was approaching the star. At T-2min the combined target magnitude was seen clearly. An increase in altitude helped. The monitor showed a slight drop in light with the star faintly visable. Sure of the event. The AOTA time is reported.
